Welcome to one of the most unique doggy daycare experiences in Toronto!
Pawsies offers a unique daycare experience unlike any other. It is suited to both dogs that need care for several hours per day, as well as high energy dogs that would benefit from a lot of exercise and socialization.

A Doggy Day Camp Adventure!
We are a mobile daycare with a full pick up and drop off service.
We will pick up and drop off poochie at home while you attend to your daily schedule. Feel free to go for that drink or two (or five – no judgment) after work. Poochie has a sweet ride home after daycare after all! Check out our Doggy School Bus page to see just how sweet the ride will become.
THE FARM:
The end destination is the real treat! Our city dogs take a daily field trip out to the country to a beautiful farm in rural Pickering. Instead of sitting in a commercial unit all day, our dogs get to romp and play outside on our private, fenced acre of land and inside our 8000-square-foot barn. They are surrounded by the smells and sounds of nature during their stay (the cows the next farm over can be heard mooing their hellos everyday). They get to run, play, and socialize to their heart's content or take naps under the shade of a tree or in the shelter of the barn.
We offer both a large/medium dog area as well as a small dog area for the little guys inside the barn and outdoors. We also have heating rooms for cold winter days to ensure your pup stays warm and comfy throughout the day.
TRAVEL:
Our service includes travel time (still waiting for teleporting to be invented) which involves pick ups and drop offs, as well as the drive to and from the farm itself. We have carefully chosen our daycare hours to take traffic into account so we that spend less time on the road.
In order to alleviate doggy boredom and discomfort we use large cargo vans to transport the dogs. We have been using a cargo van for years and we still find is funny how much dogs actually like the vehicle. It's a daycare room all on its own with room to play, socialize, and to gobble up all the treats we give! We are very good at training doggies to have positive associations with the van! Even vehicle hesitant pups have been won over before.
The drive to the farm is approximately 40 minutes from Toronto.
Pick up times are between 8-10AM depending on our schedule.
Drop offs are between 2PM to 4PM.
We do not provide custom pickup or drop off times.
DOG BEHAVIOUR:
Because we offer a private park we can screen and vet every single dog. At Pawsies we only take on friendly, sweet, cuddly, cutie pies! This means you can have the peace of mind that your dog won't be exposed to aggressive and potentially dangerous dogs. The reduced risk of trouble and dog fights are the reason we wanted to open up our own dog park.
We have a zero aggression policy. We understand the nuances of dog behaviour that may include rough play for example, which is fine if everyone is into it. Sometimes owners mistake their wild, playful dogs as being aggressive – but this is not always the case! We always keep an eye on the dogs to ensure everyone is happy with everyone else's play style. However, aggressive behaviours intended to injure dogs or people will not be tolerated.
We only use positive reinforcement R+ methods for small behavioural issues.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
Our service has a THREE VISIT PER WEEK MINIMUM. It is meant for those seeking a long term and ongoing relationship with Pawsies. Our goal is to bond with your dog and provide them with caring attention from friendly people in addition to a wonderful pack of happy dogs to play with. We do not offer temporary or short-term services.
All new dogs have a two week trial period to ensure they are a good fit for our pack and service.
All meet and greets occur at a nearby dog park so we can see your pooch's behaviour with other dogs.
We are bonded and insured by ProFur!

SERVICE AREA
We currently serve the East York, Leslieville, Beaches, Birch Cliff, Cliffside, Cliffcrest, and Guildwood areas around Toronto, Ontario, as well as a portion of Pickering and Ajax.
We have four zones. We start pick ups in Zone A, then into Zone B, through Zone C, and finally Zone D. Drop-offs are done in the reverse order. Dogs will be out of the house for different periods of time depending on their zone. All dogs spend the same amount of time at the farm. Some simply have more social time in the van during travel. We use large vans to create a daycare-like experience during travel. Dogs play, snack on treats we provide, nap, or look out the windows as the city races by.
